Hi! I’m Abby Kapadia, a 22 year old singer and actor who’s here to bring your leading lady to life on stage! Originally from Southern California, I moved to Lincoln Nebraska to pursue my B.F.A in musical theatre at Nebraska Wesleyan University.

From a very young age I have followed my passion for vocal music and performing. From my first church choir at the age of 8, to my classical vocal training in my teenage years and even into my collegiate training all I have wanted to do is tell stories through the art of song. I am best known for my classic golden age sound but have been known to excel in other genres, including contemporary, operetta, jazz, and pop. I believe that music is truly life changing so getting to share my own talents with others is a source of joy and inspiration for me. My voice makes me who I am as a performer and as a person and I would love the opportunity to share that with the world. 

My acting experience ranges from dramatic, to comedic, to shakespearian and more. I am always drawn to projects that let me explore a new character in ways that have not been done before. I strive to make all of my on-stage work an expression of authenticity, originality, and character. 

When not performing I can usually be found curled up in bed reading one of the many fantasy books I own, finding new concerts or shows to attend, spending time with friends and family, or rocking out to my favorite type of music: heavy metal.
